Success looks like
A confirmed kickoff and an informed delivery team
Build the path.
-
01
Receive the contract.
Record the signed date and source document. Keep the customer’s stated goal attached to the request.
-
02
Review the account details.
Check required fields and use the optional email validator. An ambiguous or missing address goes to manual review; never reject a customer solely on an automated result.
-
03
Create the kickoff.
Avery confirms the delivery owner and proposed date. Add a short brief that names the first useful outcome.
-
04
Make a clear introduction.
Share the approved brief, owner, and due date. The team acknowledges the handoff before the workflow closes.
When the normal path doesn’t fit.
The email check returns an uncertain result.
Keep the request open and ask a person to confirm the contact. Email validation is a signal, not proof of identity or permission to send.
The delivery owner is unavailable.
Route to the named backup and keep the original deadline visible. A change in ownership should be recorded in the handoff note.
The customer changes the kickoff date.
Update the brief before notifying the team. Avoid creating a second source of truth in a separate message.
