Our fictional lodge has eight rooms and a shared dining table. Interiors are described, not shown as verified accommodation photography. The sample stay is designed around a week in one place.
Eight rooms, a little differently.
Five sample lake-facing doubles and three garden-facing twins. Natural timber, a desk for postcards and a place to dry walking clothes. No air-conditioning or guaranteed step-free access is claimed.
Simple food, shared generously.
Breakfast is included each morning in the sample itinerary. Three lodge suppers are included across the week; other dinners remain yours to choose. Dietary requests belong in your inquiry and must be confirmed by a real provider.
Ask the right questions first.
The sample entrance has steps and the shoreline path is uneven. One ground-floor room is described, but this does not establish accessible facilities. Sample valley-station transfers are part of the fictional eight-day route.
