A fictional kitchen studio. Your plans stay in this browser. About this demo

From a plan to a working room

Make space for a smooth fit.

A well-planned installation is a sequence of people, decisions and checks. Agree that sequence with the professionals working in your home.

Before the room is cleared

Confirm the approved drawings, appliances and finishes. Agree who coordinates the job, how your home will be protected and where deliveries can be stored.

During the installation

Review the order of room preparation, specialist services, cabinetry, worktop templating and finishing. Ask how delays and design changes will be communicated.

At handover

Walk through the fitted kitchen together. Check drawers, doors and agreed details, record remaining items, and collect care information and applicable product documents.

What the planner’s £1,600 means

It is a fictional flat installation allowance used so you can compare collections on the same basis. It does not describe a real contractor’s scope or promise a completed installation price.

The planner excludes structural work, plumbing/electrical alterations, delivery, appliances and a professional survey. A real quotation must define these responsibilities and costs.

Questions for your installation team

  • Who confirms dimensions before manufacture?
  • Who coordinates worktop templating and specialist trades?
  • What is the plan for water and cooking during the work?
  • How are changes agreed and documented?
  • Who handles the final snag list and aftercare?
