A weekly practice of your own.
Six weeks. A new kind of rhythm.
Build a steady practice from centering to glazing with the same small group and tutor each week.
A little of what to expect
Stay with the same small group and tutor as you build a complete wheel-making process. There is time to repeat the basics, learn from last week’s work and see your pieces through to a glazed finish.
- Weeks 1–2 / Centering, cylinders and simple bowls
- Weeks 3–4 / Trimming, handles and refining forms
- Weeks 5–6 / Surface, glazing and reflecting on your work
Ready when you arrive.
- Six weekly 2.5-hour sessions
- Studio clay and tools
- Firing for up to six selected pieces
Tea, water and an apron are available. Wear closed shoes and clothes you do not mind getting clay on.
From clay to keepsake.
The course includes firing for up to six selected pieces. Larger or extra work is discussed before firing, with no surprise charges. Final pieces are usually ready 2–3 weeks after the last glazing session.
